SAS certification can be gained in one of three specific tracks; programming, data warehousing, and predictive modeling. Each exam consists of one or more exams, each of which must be passed to earn the certification.

SAS Certified Base Programmer Certification
This exam (A00-211) consists of 70 multiple choice questions, to be taken in 120 minutes. You must answer 46 questions correctly to pass.
SAS Advanced Programming Certification
This exam (A00-212) consists of 65 multiple choice questions, to be taken in 120 minutes. You must answer 42 questions correctly to pass.
SAS Certified Warehouse Development Specialist Certification
This exam (A00-212) consists of 65 multiple choice questions, to be taken in 120 minutes. You must answer 42 questions correctly to pass. Note that this is the same as the Advanced Programming Exam.
SAS Certified Warehouse Architect Certification
This exam (A00-206) consists of 65 multiple choice questions, to be taken in 120 minutes. You must answer 41 questions correctly to pass.
Predictive Modeling Using SAS Enterprise Miner 5.2
This exam consists of 61 multiple choice questions. You must answer 43 questions correctly to pass. This exam will require the use of SAS Enterprise Miner 5.2 during the test to answer questions.
Registering and sitting the exams
The SAS exams can be booked via the SAS Prometric test website.There are many Prometric test sites throughout the world, so there is bound to be one near you. Once you have found a suitable test center, you select the test you want to take. A list of available dates and times will be presented. Select your preferred date and time and make the payment. You test is then confirmed via email.
On the day of the test, you will need to arrive early in order to sign in. After completing the sign in process, and once your identity is verified, you are taken to the test room.
